Enter the Void

gaspar noe's latest film. head trip, body trip and mind trip. the graphics, cinematography and art direction in this film were unbelievable.

Paper cut genius

recently discovered american paper/wood cut artist, Patrick Gannon, currently working out of japan. his works show master craftsmanship and crazy dexterity with a blade. love the use of colours and blending of modern and the archaic.

first post!

will start off the blog with some snaps gathered from my germany trip in '09.
the city of berlin was particularly awash with the spirit of youth, art and design. the prevalence of street art was especially overwhelming and reassuring of berlin's status at the forefront of graphic media.

being a melburnian, it thrilled me to see melbourne artist Phibs take to a wall all the way up in the northern hemisphere. melbourne represent!

we stayed in the building behind this multi-dude, sharing a wall with watergate club
